- Stop all social media and texting and messaging at least 1 hour before you go to bed.
- Have everything organised for the next morning so that you’re not worrying once you’re in bed (it also makes your morning less stressful)
- Get ready for bed at least 30 minutes before you go to bed so you can relax and wind down.
- If something is on your mind or worrying you try and do something about it so you don’t take that worry to bed. This could be sending a message to someone you have been worried about, go online and pay that bill that’s been stressing you out. If you can’t deal with it that evening write an action plan for the day so you don’t carry the burden to bed.
- Do something nice that evening, tell someone how well they are doing or send a message to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.
