Under government rules, products designed or adapted for a disability qualify for financial support in the form of VAT relief. This means you can claim back the VAT on some products in our adjustable beds range – a benefit that could offer considerable savings.
The bed has to be for your own personal and domestic use (or for a loved one in your home) and must be for a long-term condition. For example, a temporary back problem or a broken leg wouldn’t be eligible under the scheme.

Not every brand of adjustable beds qualifies, so it’s very important to check with us first.
How to claim
Once you’ve decided on a bed, you will need to fill out a form explaining your disability and giving evidence, such as a doctor’s letter or proof of disability benefit. Here’s a link to the downloadable form on our adjustable beds page.
If you’re buying online, it’s necessary to pay the full purchase price first, then fill out the form. However, if buying in-store, we can deduct the VAT at the till.
