Single mattress – 90cm x 190cm
Small double – 120cm x 190cm
Standard double – 135cm x 190cm
King – 150cm x 200cm
Superking – 180cm x 200cm.
Please bare in mind, that this isn’t always going to be exactly the same as mattress sizes have tolerances of a few cm’s, but if you’re unsure, measure the mattress and speak to one of us.
We recommend a medium to medium-soft mattress. This allows your shoulders and hips to sink in slightly, keeping your spine aligned.
We recommend a fully natural filling mattress! These have the best superior breathability, moisture-wicking, and thermal regulation, allowing air to circulate and draw sweat away from your body, unlike synthetic foams that trap heat, with materials like wool and cotton creating a naturally fresh and dry sleep environment.
A mattress with a high spring count or even memory foam are ideal as they minimise motion transfer, so you shouldn’t feel the other person moving.
That’s a common myth! An “orthopaedic” (extra firm) bed is good for some, but a medium-firm mattress provides better contouring allowing your spine to stay straight while supporting the lower back. Speak to a bed specialist in store to find out more.
Some traditional mattresses use a cooler cotton or silk on one side of the mattress for summer, and a warm wool on the other side for winter. You can just simply flip the mattresses over with the seasons to keep cooler in the hotter months and warmer in the cooler months.
Yes manufacturers can make specific size mattresses and lowered divan bases. There are also shallow bases on legs.

If your new mattress has the recommendation of flipping it over, then yes! This will ensure you get the most life span out of your new mattress and allow it to settle in when new. If your mattress is a rotate only mattress, then you should just be rotating the mattress, head to toe to evenly wear the mattress. (might need wording better, I can’t make it sound right)
Depending on which supplier we order the product from, this will impact the delivery time. Most of our products can be delivered within 4-8 weeks from our suppliers. We also keep a range of beds in stock for Express Delivery which is normally within a few days.
No, we wouldn’t recommend it. Without a mattress protector, everyday moisture, dust and skin particles can build up over time and affect the freshness and lifespan of your mattress.
Using a good quality waterproof protector and a simple bed care routine will help keep your mattress clean, comfortable and in great condition for years to come.
