Sussex Beds are proud supporters and sponsors of the Hastings Gang Show!
Our CEO Steve Pickering, co-produces the show with Samantha Jordan. Steve has been involved, one way or another since he took part in the show aged 11 back in 1983.
The show brings together over 100 young members of the local Scouting District and provides the opportunity for them to sing, act, dance and shine on the White Rock Theatre stage.
The impact the show has on young people cannot be overstated, providing growth, building confidence, lifelong friendships and memories. For many, it will be their first taste, and experience in performing arts inspiring many to pursue further paths into stage schools or amdram societies and some on to performing careers.
Steve said ‘The show returns after 3 years due to the pandemic. These 3 lost years cannot be replaced but it is my mission to make this year’s experience the best possible and one way of achieving this is by getting the biggest possible audience.’
He continued ‘So if everyone can help me by sharing, spreading the word and of course, buying a ticket or two in support of these wonderful young people who have missed out on so much over the past 3 years’
The show took place on Thursday 17th, Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November 2022 at the White Rock Theatre, Hastings.
All of the Sussex Beds Team wished the cast, crew and everyone involved the best of luck for the run of this fabulous community event.
